Contact Espresso Tested

One address, a small team behind it, and a short list of things it is genuinely useful for. Read the last two sections before you write — between them they cover most of the mail that reaches us, and they will save you sending a message nobody here can act on.

Where does your message actually go?

To reviews@espressotested.com. That is the only address this site operates, and it is read by the same people who buy the machines, pull the shots and write the guides you are reading — there is no separate desk behind it. You can read more about how that work is done on our About page.

Two habits make a reply much faster. Put the full model name in the subject line, and if your message is about a specific page, paste the URL into the first line. Attachments are fine; photographs of a machine, a portafilter or a screen readout are often more useful than a paragraph describing them.

What is worth sending?

  • A factual correction on a review. A wrong boiler capacity, a portafilter diameter we have mismeasured, a model we still list as current that has been discontinued. Corrections jump the queue. They get checked and actioned rather than filed — if you are right, the page changes.
  • A long-term ownership report. If you have run a machine for a year or more, tell us how it aged: what failed, what the descaling routine settled into, whether parts were obtainable. This is the hardest evidence for any review site to gather and the most valuable thing you can send.
  • A machine we have missed. Name, where you bought it and roughly what you paid is enough to get it onto the testing shortlist.
  • Press and licensing enquiries. Requests to quote a review, reuse a test figure or republish a section. Say what you want to use and where it will appear.

How long should you expect to wait?

Longer than an automated ticketing system, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise. The team is small and testing takes priority over the inbox, so several working days is typical, and a week is normal while a round of machines is on the bench. Corrections are opened first. Tips and ownership reports are read even when they do not need a reply. Please do not resend the same message after a day — duplicates only push your original further down.

What can this site not help you with?

Order status, delivery dates, cancellations, returns, refunds, warranty claims and repairs. That is not a brush-off, it is a limit: Espresso Tested sells nothing, ships nothing and takes no payments. When you follow a link out of a review, you buy from Amazon or another retailer, and the order exists only in their systems. We cannot look it up, amend it or chase it, because we cannot see it at all.

So take those to the retailer you bought from. And if a machine has developed a fault while still under warranty, go straight to the manufacturer instead — they authorise the repair or replacement and they hold the parts, which makes contacting them directly faster than anything we could do on your behalf. Our FAQs answer most of the buying and testing questions that arrive here, and the Terms & Conditions set out what this site does and does not undertake.

Can a brand pay to be featured?

No — so that pitch does not need sending. We do not accept paid placement, sponsored positions in a ranking, link insertions into published reviews, or a fee to be tested sooner. No amount moves a machine up a list, and offers of that kind are declined without further correspondence. How the site is funded, including affiliate commissions that cost you nothing extra, is set out plainly in our Policy.

Would you rather not use email?

The form below reaches the same inbox. Give us enough detail in the message field to act on it, and add an address you can be reached at if you want a reply.
