Brand: Generic Generic Mr. Coffee Inner Brew Baskets Review — Replacement Review
If you own a Mr. Coffee espresso machine model PSTX91 or PSTX95, the inner brew basket is a wear-and-tear component that eventually needs replacement. This generic 2-pack offers a direct substitute at a lower price than official parts. Each basket is designed to fit the brew chamber of these specific models, ensuring proper extraction and pressure. While the packaging suggests no additional components or warranty, the set provides two identical baskets for convenience or backup. For users whose original baskets have become clogged, deformed, or lost, this is a straightforward solution without unnecessary extras.
Product Overview
These inner brew baskets are manufactured by PLTHANG under part number PLTHANG8753. They are explicitly compatible with Mr. Coffee models PSTX91 and PSTX95, which are common in home espresso setups. The dimensions are listed as 1 x 1 x 1 inches, though this likely refers to the packaged size rather than the basket itself. Actual basket dimensions are typical for single-serve espresso machines, fitting snugly into the brew head. The baskets are hand-powered in the sense that they rely on the machine's manual operation. Included components are only the two baskets—no portafilter, tamper, or cleaning tools. There is no warranty provided, so buyers should inspect upon arrival for defects. Given the generic nature, quality may vary, but customer feedback (if available) would indicate overall durability. For those needing a quick, cost-effective replacement, this 2-pack avoids the higher cost of branded accessories.

Build & Materials
The inner brew baskets are simple cylindrical containers with a perforated bottom to hold coffee grounds during extraction. The exterior is smooth to fit into the machine's brew head. While the exact material is not listed, replacement baskets of this type are typically made from high-heat plastic or stainless steel. The generic manufacturer, PLTHANG, does not provide specific material details, so buyers should assume standard construction comparable to OEM parts. The design includes a rim that locks into place, ensuring no movement during brewing.
Given the lack of warranty, the build quality is a risk; however, the price point suggests a basic but functional product. The baskets are likely dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended to prolong life. The 2-pack allows users to rotate baskets, reducing wear on a single unit. For those who want an exact match, official Mr. Coffee baskets may offer more certainty, but this generic option addresses the core need at a lower cost.
