Ouyniei Coffee Machine Water Tank Review — Easy Replacement for Nespresso Review
The Ouyniei Coffee Machine Water Tank is a direct replacement water reservoir designed for Nespresso Essenza PLUS C45/D45 machines. It offers a convenient way to restore or upgrade the water capacity of your espresso maker. This tank eliminates the need for frequent refills, allowing you to brew multiple cups without interruption. Its easy-to-remove design simplifies refilling and cleaning, helping maintain hygiene and scale buildup. For owners of compatible Nespresso models, this replacement part can extend the life of your machine or serve as a spare for high-volume use.
Product Overview
The Ouyniei water tank is molded from durable plastic and fits seamlessly into the Nespresso Essenza PLUS C45 and D45 models. It does not require any additional modification or tools for installation — simply remove the old tank and drop this one in. The independent design means you can take the tank out to fill it at the sink, avoiding spills on the machine. This also makes it easier to clean out any coffee residue or mineral deposits that accumulate over time. The tank's capacity is adequate for several cups before needing a refill, though exact volume is not specified by the manufacturer. Keep in mind that this is a replacement part, not an upgrade — it replicates the original tank's function. The package dimensions (0.39 x 0.39 x 0.39 inches) and weight (1.76 ounces) suggest a compact shipping box, but the actual tank is appropriately sized for the machine. For best results, hand-wash the tank with mild soap and warm water, and avoid abrasive cleaners. This product is specifically for the Essenza PLUS C45/D45; it may not fit other Nespresso models despite the manufacturer's claim of compatibility with semi‑automatic and fully automatic machines. Verify your machine model before purchase.

The Verdict
The Ouyniei water tank is a practical replacement for owners of Nespresso Essenza PLUS C45 or D45 machines whose original tank is lost, cracked, or worn. It replicates the original's function with the added benefit of easy remove‑for‑cleaning. The main consideration is the price: at over $100, it is a significant investment for a simple plastic part. If your machine is still in good condition and you need a spare or replacement, this tank will get the job done. For those on a tight budget, a used original part or a less expensive generic alternative might be worth exploring. Overall, it works as advertised but offers no surprises.
